Native Sun-One of my favorite places…
For lunch,
I usually get a wrap, an apple and some sort of vegetable, either Raw Power, Vegetable Aioli or Cucumber Salad, but today they didn’t have any vegetables…they have a salad bar, where you go pick out what kind of lettuce you want and then you head over to the salad bar and tell them what you want in it. I should have taken a picture of it. Next time I’ll snap a quick picture of it, so you can see what I’m talking about. They have several different items you can add. I had them add some chicken, red, yellow and green pepper, cucumbers and tomatoes. Then they mix it all together and chop it up.
As you can see I picked the spinach salad. It looks small in this picture, but there is actually a lot of salad there.
I went to the gym tonight and worked out on the ARC Trainer.
I had it at an incline of 10 and a resistance for the 1st 1/2 hour of 80, then the next 20 minutes at 90 and the last 10 minutes at 100. I wanted to start wearing my heart rate monitor again to see what my heart rate was while working out on this compared to when I run. My battery was dead in my watch so, today I went and had a new battery put in,($16 later) but I still could not get it to register my heart rate. I think I need to invest in a new monitor. Well, after I work out with my trainer tomorrow, (YAY!!) I’m off to Orlando, just over night then right back to Jacksonville, quick trip, out and back!! I’ll be blogging while I’m out on the road, maybe I’ll report like they do on the Food Network, what’s that guys name…
Oh yeah! Guy Fieri he does that show Diner’s, Drive-In’s and Dives! He reported on the Metro Diner that’s in San Marco here in Jacksonville, I love to eat breakfast there with my friends after boot camp. (Yes you can eat clean there, just tell them how you want it cooked and what you want) Well, I have to sign off, so here’s my food journal from today…
