Shoulders

I only workout with my trainer for 1/2 hour on Thursday’s and it goes by so quick, I feel like we just get started and then it’s over!!  Even though it’s a short workout, it was a really good workout!   I think I’ll be feeling it tomorrow!  I’m not sure what we will be doing on Friday.  Friday’s  are an hour workout. 

I went to lunch today and had Sushi, with a really good friend, who I knew I missed, but didn’t realize how much until I saw her! When I saw her pull into where I worked I almost lost it.  I am the opposite of most people, when I see people who I miss, I cry when I first see them but when/if you leave I can keep it together.  I remember when my daughter came home for the first time after being away at college and I saw her walking toward me in the airport, I lost it!  It’s weird, you know someone so well, that you can pick their walk out in a crowd. I could not wait to get to her and hug her!  I remember someone saying “awe that’s a Kodak moment” I laughed and cried at the same time.

I need to get to bed, so until Friday…goodnight!~B

Orlando Trip & Food Journal 4/19/11

I was in Orlando last week for a work conference, I lucky and was booked at the Peabody Hotel, really nice.  One of the first things we did when we arrived was to

Core Room

go check out the gym.  The gym was awesome, especially for a hotel gym.  They had 3 different rooms, a cardio room, a core room and a free weight room which included a Smith Machine, T Functional Trainer and a whole range of free weights. Then attached to the free weight room were 2 other rooms that had nothing but plate loaded machines in them.  All the equipment was Cybex and they also had locker rooms.  It was really nice!  Here are some pictures I wanted to share!

Wow,  I don’t even know where to start…I went to Orlando for a work conference for 4 days.  I started Cathy Savage Fitness, trying to get ready for a figure competition and I have to eat 6 times a day, I don’t count calories, I just eat a protein, fruit, starch, veggie at each meal and at meals 1, 3 and 5 I include a healthy fat, such as avocado, Udo’s Oil, Coconut Oil….so I brought as much food with me as I could…

it was really hard being away and trying to eat a certain way.  I did eat clean while I was away, but really couldn’t follow their program like I would have liked to.  I went to the gym everyday. I went in the mornings, which I hate, I do NOT like to work out in the mornings at all.  So, that was a struggle, but I did it and after I was done, I was really glad I did, because I knew I would not have time in the evenings to work out.  I’ll post more pictures tomorrow, but I need to go to bed and get some sleep I’m trying to get in 8 hours!

Working Out ~ My favorite thing to do!!

We took picture of me at the gym the other night…I had no idea that my back looked like that!  It’s good to take pictures of yourself, you can see the improvement in your body at different stages. I wish I would have taken more of myself as I was losing weight.  I now tell people to take pictures of themselves, because you’ll want them after you reach your weight loss goal! Also, keep notes about your inches lost, it’s good to be able to look back and see how far you’ve come!

This was a hard work out, but it was fun!!

I love working out, it’s one of my favorite things to do!
